A custom stationery project for a 5-star hotel of the Auberge Resorts Collection group

For the opening of Collegio Alla Querce, the American group Auberge Resorts Collection ‘s new 5-star hotel in Florence, the Saint-Lazare design agency (New York office) and the group’s management called on Atelier Bulk to manufacture all the custom stationery stationery.

Comprehensive support and customized production

Starting with the outstanding art direction from Saint-lazare, we translated it into real production, taking charge of all the hotel’s stationery. This project mobilized several of our workshop’s skills:

• Menus and menu holders for restaurants and bars
• Bill and card holders for service areas
• In-room stationery: notepads, letterheads, envelopes
• Custom-made rigid supports in padded fabric
• Production of all printed elements: invitation cards, welcome cards, inserts, etc.

Noble Italian materials

This project showcases two materials that are emblematic of Italian manufacturing:

• Fedrigoni’s Old Mill Bianco, a creamy white paper with an elegant texture
• A green fabric from Manifattura Del Seveso, used for padding rigid elements

This choice of materials ensures aesthetic coherence while emphasizing the project’s local roots.

Art direction inspired by the hotel

The design is based on a combination of sober, elegant colors:

• The creamy white of Old Mill Bianco paper
• A deep green used for offset printing, hot foil stamping and canvas.
• A Renaissance-style fresco, meticulously reproduced in four-color offset printing

This palette creates a strong link between printed materials and the hotel’s visual universe.

Printing and finishing techniques used

To complete this project, our team applied the most demanding techniques, ensuring an impeccable finish:

• Four-colour and Pantone offset printing
• Hot stamping for certain titles and details
• Dry embossing for relief
• Complex shaping: folding, gluing, padding, laminating
